Nickelback: All the Right Reasons

I love Nickelback, and this is by far the best record that they have ever put out. The album is a great mix between hard rock and soft ballads. They were supposed to take a break before they made another record, but 2 weeks into their vacation their creative juices started to flow again. This album has sweet lyrics and also some hard rock lyrics, like in "Side Of A Bullet," it is about the death of Dimebag Darrell. The album features ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons on the tracks "Follow You Home" and "Rock Star". Also the solo for "Side Of A Bullet" was pieced together with the help of Vinnie Paul, they took some recorded solos from Dimebag and combined them to make one.

The lyrics are amazing, definetly the best lyrics Nickelback has to offer. The lyrics Chad has written this time, fit extremely well with the music, definetly the best mix. On this record, Chad really steps up his vocal skills, with the ballad "Far Away" he really shows just how great of a singer he is.

Overall Impression — 10
This album is absolutely the best one Nickelback has ever put out. The best songs on the album that really stick out are "Follow You Home," "Far Away," and "Next Contestant." They all really bring a great feel to Nickelback's hard rock music and sweet lyrical ballads. There isn't really anything to hate about this album, every song keeps you wanting more which makes ready for the next album. If it were lost or stolen I would definelty buy it again.
