Nirvana: Nevermind

Sound — 9
Their best and most famous CD, this is the CD that set off Grunge rock in the early '90s. What makes this record so unique is the fact that this was totally different, nothing similar to anything made the previous decade, much of that due to the creativness of Kurt Cobain. Many songs on the album sound similar, however, one of the few cons a bout Nevermind. most songs are good, the best include: Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, Lithium, and On A Plain.

Lyrics — 7
lyrics are very creative, kurt cobain can make the most random lyrics sound good (listen to the chorus of Smells Like Teen Spirit) and he has a great voice.

Overall Impression — 10
Best grunge CD ever made, and it was one of the first. The only grunge CD that comes close to Nevermind is Superunknown, by Soundgarden. This is like a "classic" band, one that will be remembered forever, they had as big of an influence as the Beatles and the Sex Pistols; and this CD is what made them famous.
