Nocturnal Depression: Nostalgia - Fragments Of A Broken Past

It's a snowy, cold and very very sad day. In endless mountains of snow, everything seems to be meaningless, so tomorrow, life and even yourself. Pain is the only reality, and in grief, sorrow and suffering, you will spend this awful life, unless you commit suicide, apparently the only hope. Well, welcome to Nocturnal Depression's world, a true band of Depressive Black Metal. Bringing a melancholic and repetitive melody, it makes you really feel the band's pain, in a beautiful way if I can say that: It's so much pain expressed that in somehow it has its beauty.

Lyrics talks about mostly suicide, depression, agony and stuff like that, sang with very emotional shrieks. Songs like "Nostalgia" and "A Life To Suffer" gives you a sample of the lyrics; To be completely honest, it's not professional material, but it is real music from a mind in real pain, which gives it an awesome atmosphere.

Suicide... It's only music, soon as there are many bands of depressive suicidal black metal out there and they're still alive, lol; This music genre sees life as a dream (a nightmare actually, because of so much pain for multiple reasons: broken heart, overall depression, between others) and the suicide the awakening, so it's not exactly a giving up (although they're aware they are giving up somehow), it's salvation. And so much honesty expressed in music about a very chaotic subject, is very interesting. I like it a lot and you should give it a listen sometime!
