Sound: Well, if your reading this review, than your probably at least a litte familiar with Phish's sound. Phish is a jam band, fusion, very eclectic sound, and this cd does a good job of keeping with that. The combination of Trey's jammin' guitar and Mike's Smooth bass make any Phish cd a nice ride, and this one is no different. The songs switch atmospheres in a matter of seconds, as apperent in the song "Guyute", which changes from a happy sounding, cheerful ballad, into a dark, frightening mood, then right back into the cheerful sound again. This cd is definitely good to jam along to if you play bass or guitar. // 10

Lyrics: Well the thought provoking lyrics are here within these songs, providing an almost trippy like feeling of "What the hell did he just say?" and "Wow, that was brilliant!" The lyrics flow smoothly with the music, and creates a very good atmosphere throughout the whole cd. Trey Anastasio's voice is very unique in such a way that it can be soothing and relaxing, to very strange, weird type, which perfectly fits the lyrics. // 8

Overall Impression: This cd is alot like other Phish cd's, but that is in no way a bad thing. A few key tracks on this cd are "Birds of a Feather", "Guyute", "Meat", and "Limb by Limb". I pretty much love everything about this cd, especially the wide array of sounds you'll hear. This cd is definitely worth buying, as is the rest of Phish's catalog. // 8
