Red Hot Chili Peppers: Californication

Sound — 10
Very Good. This is Fleas first album with decent bass sounds, and with the return of John Frusciante this album was a brilliant comeback. There's no doubt that the chili's are musically talented.

It's a real shame none of their lyrics make sense Anthony Kiedis sings well but most of the time you can't understand a word he's saying.

Overall Impression — 8
Obviously there wasn't much work to be done to beat their previous album One Hot Minute which was kind of crap. Overall the songs are brilliant and although the words don't carry them the music definitely does. Buy this but if you haven't got it buy by the way first, so no more dreaming of owning Californication.
