Reel Big Fish: Turn The Radio Off

Sound — 9
Reel Big Fish are considered in my books to be one of the most catchy ska bands of the '90s. They weren't the most technical band in the world but they knew how to put a song together. It isn't the tightist record quality wise but that doesn't take away from the music.

Lyrics — 9
Aaron Barret doesn't write the most meaningful lyrics but he writes the kind of music that anyone can relate to in one way or another. Whether that is with alcohol, girls, Snoop Dog, Lesbian girlfriends, or selling out. The lyrics fit well with the music because they aren't too complicated and they aren't too simple.

Overall Impression — 9
In my opinion this is Reel Big Fish's greatest record. It was one of their only true ska albums. The strongest songs on the album are She Has a Girlfriend Now, Sell Out, Beer, Trendy, and S.R. And now for the UG review cliche, if this CD were lost or stolen I would buy it off of Ebay. Thank you for your time.
