Sound: The sound on the cd seems to fit in every way, for every song. With Ted and Dave's little use of power chords and more cleaner sounding tones, along with Eben's awsome bass riffs, with Bryan's drums, this cd makes it easily one of the best sounding cds I have ever heard. On this cd rather then sound like normal punk bands, then went in a totally different direction with Stay What You Are. Using grand organs, tamborines, and la la las rather then whoa whoa whoas, make this (again I must stress) a great cd. // 10

Lyrics: Holy crap! If you want one deep lyrical trip, forget Pink Floyd! After one listen to this cd in the dark, in the'll feel changed. This cd shows Chris Conely's more lyrical side with songs such as freakish, nightengale, firefly, and the ever so popular At Your Funeral. Like a said before, every little thing in this cd is perfect. The voice for this cd is just so perfect along with the back up vocals by the other members...GAH!!!lol. Chris's voice is pretty much perfect for this cd. // 10

Overall Impression: This was under vagrant records, but unlike the other cd's under equal vision, this is very more lyrical, better sounding, blibitty blah blah this cd kicks ass. The most impressive songs from the album, (2 of which they made music videos) are undoubtly Nightingale, At Your Funeral, Fiefly and Freakish. If this cd were stolen, I would go buy it. This is the cd to have if you wanna get into Saves The Day. This would also be a good cd for a g/f because there are some really deep love songs (i.e. Nightingale, Firefly, etc.) on it. A Must For Everyone!!! // 10

Sound: I got this album off a friend after I heard a few of their other songs (Holly Hox, Sell My Old Clothes, etc). My first impression before getting this CD was that Saves the Day is amazing. After getting this CD, I know they are mind blowing. The sweet, simple riffs to the excellent basslines makes this perfect CD. Excellent sound, excellent music. Great variety of songs, I might add. // 10

Lyrics: The lyrics are as amazing as the sound. Very deep, thoughtful lyrics. Even better, the voice that you hear these lyrics from is great. Definitly not your average vocalist. Able to make 'Nightingale' work at the same time as 'At Your Funeral'. If you're looking for great lyrics that go perfectly with the music, Saves the Day is definitly something you have to check out. The vocals don't let you down one bit either. // 10

Overall Impression: Saves the Day has definitly made themselves my favorite artist. This is one album you have to at least give a try. It is included as one of the few albums I can listen to from start to finish without getting sick of a single song. Very diverse music as well. I loved 'Nightingale', 'Firefly', and 'This Is Not An Exit'. Those are my standing favorites. Very impressive songs. But another great thing about this album is that you can say every track is your favorite. None of them disappoint at all. I honestly can't say that I dislike anything about this album. It may seem over the top, but there is honestly nothing I can hate about it. If it was stolen or lost, I would buy about 5 more copies. It is honestly one of my favorite albums, and definitly would need to be replaced. No matter what music your into, I recommend you at least give this album a try. // 10
