Shadow Gallery: Room V

Sound — 10
Shadow Gallery is an amazing band that deserves much much more attention than they get. Room V is by far their most amazing album to date. This is because after their previous album (Legacy) they split up. When they decided that they wanted to get back together and record more, they all displayed their greatest talents. With this new sound they had produced, they got picked up by a better record company, and became more public. While most of their fan base is in Europe, they still have a pretty good crowd in The United States. This is Shadow Gallery at their very best!

Lyrics — 10
Mike Baker is an amazing singer. While most of the time his singing is in a medium-high register, he can sing the low notes with ease. The whole band shares in the writing of vocals, but Mike really brings the emotion when he sings them. The lyrical content ranges from sad and depressing to love and happiness. Simply put, these guys can write some awesome lyrics!

Overall Impression — 10
Ever Shadow Gallery album has a different sound to it, but this one is much different than the others. Every song on the album is awesome, but the best 3 are definitely "The Andromeda Strain", "The Archer Of Ben Salem", and "Room V". I love every last thing about this album. There is not a single thing wrong with it. If this were stolen or lost or broken or anything, I would replace it in a heartbeat!
