Slipknot: Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)

Sound — 7
Slipknot, otherwise known as the maggot kings, are a mix of heavy metal, and post post grunge. They wear metal masks, which is really cool. They kind of have a texture to the music that is different from all other bands. They have their own way of doing things. Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses, is their best album in my record book, because it is the heaviest.

Lyrics — 6
Slipknot have pretty strong lyrics, but it is not parental advisory. The lead singer's voice is like no other. He is pure, no machines, and very good at it. The lyrics fit the music perfectly.

Overall Impression — 9
The subliminal verses does compare to other artists. They have their own way of doing things. The most impressive song on their album has got to be Before I Forget because the first part of it, is really hard to play on guiar because it is so fast. If the CD got stolen or lost, I would definatly buy a new one.
