Sound — 10
This album has really good production quality which is a good thing about Nuclear Blast. I like the keyboard chorus sounds used in the songs and the guitar distortion rocks without being too heavy. Timo's vocals are suyperb like they were on Visions and Timo's guitarring didn't loose any of it's flare.

Stratovarius are a very creative band but the lyrics come mostly out of the hands of Timo Tolkki who has a brilliant lyrics imagination. He writes pretty epic stuff (sorry) and I like the way he based Fantasia on the Neverending Story. That was creative. I think he really stretched his imagination on this record. The other Timo finds great ways to form vocal melodies and work them into the songs. Eagleheart is the best example, period.
Overall Impression — 9
This album wasn't as good as Visions but it was a very good attempt at success. Being that Stratovarius is an underground band most people don't come by this band on their own. The art is attractive and the theory behind the music is superb but for some reason this album just doesn't work as well as Visions. The best songs are Eagleheart, Fantasia, and Drop In the Ocean which finishes with two minutes of ocean sounds which leaves the listener in a nice relaxed state.
