Sum 41: Chuck

Sound — 10
The sound on their new album is just plain incredible, they turned from punk to metallish punk. The best part is that dave brownsound (the guitarist) really showed his talent, there were many awesome riffs in the album and there were almsot a solo in every song. This album is a huge improvement over their old ones.

Lyrics — 10
The lyrics completely changed in this, instead of the same old talking about girls and shit that most punk bands like to sing about, Sum 41 mainly sings about the government (Bush) and about real issues in life, their lyrics are way more mature and better than their old ones. Deryk's voice sounds mainly the same, but he screams more now.

Overall Impression — 10
Overall I think this is Sum 41's best album and a must buy for anyone who likes punk or metal, like I said before, it's an awesome cd, and it only costs 10 bucks canadian! If I lost this cd, I would definately buy it again.
