Sum 41: Chuck

Sound — 10
Sum 41 has been a good band since they first came out and chuck doesn't disappooint. The guitars are better than there other albums in skill and I belive Cone's bass stand out a lot better. Stevo's drumming was awsome as usual. A very good punk rock sound.

Lyrics — 9
Deryk's lyrics had a lot more meaning in this CD with a lot of more concern for the issues in the world. His singing is very good and the backing vocals were quite good in this album as well. A very good mix of lyrics and talent.

Overall Impression — 9
This is the bands best album thus far and I was very impressed by how much there musics matured. Some really good songs are "Pieces," "There's No Solution," "88," "Open Your Eyes," "No Reason" and "We're All To Blame." Not many bad filler songs in this CD and I look forward to there futre work. If you lose it, buy it again.
