System of a Down: Hypnotize

Sound — 7
hypnotize is definitely radio friendly and will do well for quite some time, other songs which stand out like "Kill Rock N roll" take a couple times to get used to but are awesome and grow on you like mold on bread. Holy Mountains, and Lonely Days, and Soldier Side are also noteworthy, darker slower tunes which have some radio play in the future. Heroine is a 50/50 love it or hate it, the backup vocals can either suck or express Beavis A. D. D skitzo-like attitude.

Lyrics — 3
Creative lyrics, whig out verses, and dominant Serj-esque gruffness make this album a must for System Of A Downers. Kinda off beat SOAD style. What can you say about Serj's vocal skills.

Overall Impression — 6
Compares to a must have compared to other albums. Like I said above in the first paragraph are the most impressive songs. Above again in the first paragraph my loves and hates. If lost or stolen would probably buy something else than buy it again, and just pay a few cents downloading the four songs above maybe Tenative, and Society also.
