System of a Down: Hypnotize

Sound — 10
I thought that this album was the ultimate System album. It had great riffage, awesome heavy chord progressions. I still can't stop listening to nearly every song on that album. Some of my favourite would have to be, Stealing Society, Hypnotize, Vicinity Of Obscenity, Attack, and Holy Mountains. Now those are only my favourites, every song on this album is brilliant.

Lyrics — 9
The lyrics, by themselves, were quite odd, which isn't odd for System. For example, the main lyrics in Vicinity of Obscenity, are "banana, banana, banana, teracota, banana, teracota, teracota pie." This however is quite different. Serj's voice is very suitable to the music (and lyrics) as usual. The addition of Mr. Malakian's lead vocals, are in my opinion fine, nothing wrong with them.

Overall Impression — 10
This album, overall, has to be that it is a great album, with funny/serious lyrics, great guitar work, great drumming, great bass, and that's all their is to it. If this was stolen/lost, I would definitely buy it again.
