System of a Down: Mezmerize

Sound — 8
This album is different to the rest, it has good riffs, good acustic riffs and some kick ass effects, the style they are trying to set I think is a hard rock, with a mixture of folklore! Yes folklore! And crazy effects.

The lyrics, are acctualy very random and very meaningless! They like to sing about the mysteries of life after death! The lyrics are very simple and didn't take a genius to think up! Although, because they are random, that does make them funny! The singers are very well talented as well, to make this quite good.

Overall Impression — 8
It is not that much different to the other albums, althought the riffs are not as heavy as they once were. The most impressive songs on the album are, 'Cigaro', 'Radio/Video' and ' Old School Hollywood'. I love the riffs in this album and I hate the way some of the songs are to long! If it was stolen, I wud buy it again yes.
