System of a Down: Mezmerize

Sound — 8
Sound wise the album was fine. Some nice riffs in there, most catchy too. It's not as good as say the first album, but its still a nice album, although a but short.

System have always apealed to me with their meaningful/weird lyrics, this album still had good lyrics, but some songs e.g. Byob seemed more pop orientated. Still good songs mind you. I noticed Daron had more singing action. I prefer the lead singer's voice but hey he ain't bad. Their voices complement each other quite nicely, something I also noticed on steal this album.

Overall Impression — 8
Well, this album is definatly worth buyin. I'm a huge soad fan, and still album hasn't disapointed me, although its obviously not their best (the hand album being my fav). My fav song on this album (well two) are Revenga and cigaro. Vilent Pornography also cool. If it was stolen I would hunt down the thief, make him buy me another then insert his head up his ass so hed wear himself as a hat.
