Sound — 10
The group's maturity from their debut album to the follow-up is immediately noticed from the first track. The production and keyboard playing from Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones adds to the '70s feel of the album. The Datsuns are still as heavily rocky as they always were.
Lyrics — 10
Clever lyrics combined with the force of Dolf De Datsun's voice make this album a meaty and intreguing affair. "Girls Best Friend" is a particular ringer.
Overall Impression — 10
While the band's power is still evident, they seem to have taken the time to write intellegent lyrics and utilize more of a broad cross-section of sounds from their instruments. A definite must for any hard rock fan.
