The band's second album, Welcome To The North would, based on its title alone, suggest that this quartet wear their Northern England roots on their sleeve.

Sound: The band a very distincite sound. Brillaint guitar riffs, the screaming singer and some amazing drumming. This album is one of my favourite albums ever. The first 6 tracks are real strickers, they are definetly the best songs on the album, and also: One Way In, No Way Out. The other songs are catchy and good to but not the best. There is a good range of songs. There's the rock your socks off songs like Freedom Fighters or Cessation, and the slow catchy songs like Into The Night or Fight The Feeling. If you're a guitar player you'll love playing these songs, Welcome To The North has a brilliant riff which so great to play. The recording and sound of the music is to eprfection, there's nothing dodgey there. // 10

Lyrics: Calling the album Welcome to the North really makes it obvious that the Northern guys aren't ashamed of their roots. But this isn't all about their love of the North. I don't really bother abut the lyrics to much so yeh the're fine. Though the lyrics occasionally venture into pretension "mine eyes," it's just different and cool. Robert Harvey's singing is once again absolutly amazing. The notes he reaches. Try singing along to this record and your throat will eb aching (speaking from expieriance). // 10

Overall Impression: An amazign record, full of fun and variety. Definetly a buyer. The best songs on there have got to be: Cessation, Welcome To The North, Freedom Fighters, One Way In, No Way out. You will love this album as soon as you buy it. I'm just annoyed I didn't buy it until after their tour had ended. // 10
