Sound: Twin Cinema is another great album by The New Pornographers, there is no doubt about that. Twin Cinema is slightly better than Electric Version and almost up there with Mass Romantic (incredible albums, I coulnd't say which one I like better). All of them are "growers." Where should I start? They have this contagious and cheerful sound, there is not a single song that doesn't reflect that. Their songs will make you want to jump around until you go into raptures. As always, the vocals are shared between Carl Newman (well AC Newman after his solo album "The Slow Wonder," check it out), Neko Case and Dan Bejar, singing individually or all together. The three of them are terrific singers, each with a different style. The mix of guitars, piano, ebow and synthesizer is just amazing, it gives the music such heartiness that along with the jolly lyrics make every song reach the end of the speedometer. The album has 14 tracks, but it isn't a lenghty album, guaranteed. // 10

Lyrics: The lyrics and the music seem to flow together giving some dicharges of pure enthusiasm to your brain. It definitely feels good, believe me. The only problem with the lyrics is that they are not so easy to relate to; they are fun, crazy and humorous stories that you'd have to interpreate to understand. But, who needs to interpretate music to have a good time? Hopefully, not many. In this case, that's something you shouldn't do. Favourite quote: "Two sips from the cup of human kindness/and I'm shit faced." // 10

Overall Impression: With all the cards in the table, this is an album to keep, flawless power pop/indie music done right. Give Twin Cinema a chance, press 'Play' and after almost 48 minutes you'll just say "wow." It won't take too long until The New Pornographers take control of your head with their music. Just wait and see. // 10
