Sound — 9
This is a collection of mostly live tracks and the sound quality itself is great. The instruments sound fantastic on all tracks and Billy's voice sounds great on french movie theme. It is mainly rock with the odd song like bugg superstar and french movie theme. The sound is just what you'd expect from the smashing pumpkins and the extended songs are my particular favourite. The change in some instruments on some tracks is welcomed eg acoustic to electric or vice versa. It gives you another take on some of your favourite songs.

Billy's lyrics as always suit the music perfectly. His voice live is just as good as it is in the studio and the I am One rant is brilliant in both terms of improvised lyrical genius and his changing singing style. You can really feel the emotion in his singing and by the lyrics he wrights. On french movie theme his singing is nice enough that lyrics aren't necessary. The "la-la-la-la la la" is very peaceful.
Overall Impression — 10
It isn't really comparable to other albums as it mostly features songs off other albums. It is certainly a great buy as even if you own the songs featured on here, they are really different. The most impressive song is certainly silverf--k. The guitar intro is very hard hitting and is contrasted greatly by tht verses of vocals and peaceful bass. The chorus just "booms" in and sounds great. The instrumental parts in the middle are just amazing and the sound is undescribable. Billy throws in "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as a teaser before the song is back in in full throttle. Finally the song Jackboot is thrown on the end and makes a mind-blowing 14 minute long performance. The acoustic versions of cherub rock and mayonaise are great and very good at waking me up. If you want a great take on some great studio songs then this is really for you.
