The Starting Line: Based On A True Story

Sound — 8
The sound itself is pretty much like "Say It Like You Mean It." They use the same pop-punk kind of style in this one. Although "Ready" and "Photography" were the 2 slow (but awesome) exceptions. If you like that kind of mild/sensual punk, then you will like this.

Lyrics — 8
The lyrics, I thought, were very meaningful in the way he talks about his relationships and feelings. The only one thing I didn't like was that "Ready" is a slow song, but doesn't really have lyrics that go with that. Other than that though, the lyrics were great! The band did a great job of fitting the lyrics with the song.

Overall Impression — 9
In comparison to the other albums I think this one is best. I like the occasional band with this kind of music and Starting Line does a great job of portraying it. My personal favorites from the album were "Inspired By The $," "Artistic License" and "Ready." If it were stolen or ost I would definitely buy another right away!
