Three Days Grace: One-X

Sound — 10
The sound has changed a lot in my personal opinion, probably because now Barry Stock was able to write the songs with the band, because he joined the band after their first album so that might be the reason. It sounds really good though. Also their are some solos now, and it's not simple like some of the songs on the last album.

Adam Gontier has only gotten better in writing lyrics. He tops the emotional lyrics with powerful singing. The lyrics are so powerful also, like in "Pain" when he says "Pain, without love, Pain, can't get enough Pain, I like it rough, because I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all." They kind of speak to you.

Overall Impression — 10
This album is better than their self-titled, in my opinion. When I put this CD in the stereo I began to think, "Wow this is great." If you've only heard "Animal I Have Become," then you haven't heard anything yet. There are more great songs such as "It's All Over," "Pain," "Riot," and more. This album is really good in full. I highly reccomend it.
