They are their own animal, a breed set apart from the rest.
Even the sleeve kicks ass. I found the word "God" hidden in the brain of the final page.

Because you get both. You get the hard rock (The Grudge, Parabla), you get the epic songs (Schism, Lateralus), and you get the laid back (Disposition, Reflection).
I can't say which song is the most impressive because they are all so meaningful and worth listening to.
This album seems more, well sober and more thought out than the other albums.
What I mostly love about this CD is its uniquness.
listen to it all the way through, including the "Filler" ambience parts to get the full effect.
Tool made a very fine record with this release, and they should be proud as it kicks the bejesus out...

I have never heard such a solid album.
Each song is complex and well-planned out. The most impressive songs on the album are "The Patient", "The Grudge" and "Parabola." Definitely worth buying even you are new the musical style of Tool..
