Unwritten Law: Here's To The Mourning

Sound — 8
I think the sound of this CD is pretty good. They have progressed a lot since their last album. The guitar parts are a little heavier sounding than the singing, but it matches up OK anyways. The music sounds a bit sloppy, but I like their overall sound. It surprised me how diverse a lot of the songs on it are.

The lyrics for the most part revolve around drug abuse and bad relationships. Their single Save Me kind of sets the tone for the rest of the album. A lot of the backup singing have really catchy tunes and it matches up with the lead singer well. I like how the well the music blends with the singing. It is a good balance.

Overall Impression — 8
I liked most of the songs on the CD. Acouple of them were kind of boring. I really lie songs 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, and 11. The first song is an intro and I like the ways it moves into the next song right from there. I liked this CD and I'm glad I bought it.
