Velvet Revolver: Contraband

Sound — 10
If Rock'n'Roll was dead, it's alive and kicking now! For all the ignorant buggers out there who think the likes of AC/DC, Led Zep, and hell, even G'n'R's aren't "kool" to listen to these days, then listen to this and you will think twice. The riffs are quality. This album defines rock'n'roll! I love a song with a riff, this album is full of beauties. It's great to have traditional rock'n'roll sound again. None of this "nu-metal", "emo" crap. Buy It!

Strange to say the least. As has been said, not completely clear what they mean. But hey, they do the job as it adds to the albums quality! Weiland obviously no's what he's on about.

Overall Impression — 10
Quality 1st album. But with someone like Slash in your line-up, you wouldn't expect anything less. I love the sound, solos, lyrics, structures, everything about it! I hate nothing about it. Not one fault. Album of the year.
