I'm using a Peavey Blazer with this guitar and they compliment each other perfectly. I usually have the gains right up, the treble right up , the middle 3/4, and the bass 1/4. I love playing rock music and this guitar is great for doing just that.

Overall Impression — 10
Been playing 2 1/2 years and never changed guitar. Love the Cort G250 as it's such a joy to play. Great value for money. Chose this guitar over the Cort G290 because for the extra 90 you really don't get much more. Go to www.regentguitars.co.uk because the guys there are really helpful.

I don't know about live playing cause IU've never done it. The strap buttons do give a little but not too much. It's very reliable. The hardware and finish have lasted 2 1/2 years so far.

Action, Fit & Finish — 10
The guitar was hand finished in the shop within an hour. They did a really good job. The top was bookmatched brilliantly and the bridge was perfect.

This 22 fret guitar is ideal for beginners such as myself. The pickup configuration is s/s/h and volume and tone controls are given. It's got a raised bridge an a beautiful satin finish. The body and neck are Maple. The tuners are non-locking. The neck is reasonably thin and it came with a gig-bag, strap, lead, and 5 plecs. A dream to play. It's got roller machine heads. How many guitars under 300 have? Not many.
