Features: This guitar is a beautiful looking Acoustic guitar. It has 20 frets, sitka top with rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. The finish is all clear so you can see the brilliant wood. It is a dreadnought shape with single venitian cutaway. It also includes a Fisherman 4t blend pickup system with pickup in the bridge and mic inside the body under the scratch guard. Controls on the pre-amp are; Volume, mic level, a 4 band EQ and a built in tuner. The tuner is very accurate and pretty handy. The guitar doesn't come with a strap pin at the neck end but one can be easily added if you do use a strap at the other end the jack is shaped to fit a guitar strap but I would recommend a strap thats has a tight end as there isn't much of a lip on the jack but when a lead is plugged in this is no problem // 9

Sound: The sound from this guitar is amazing considering the price. The tone is bright and sounds very full. I tested a Fender Acoustic and several Matons at the time that I bought this guitar and the Fender sounded tin and fake where as this Cort sounded much more like the Maton without the ridicules price tag. With the mic level control you can blend the signal of the pickup and the mic to your desired level. The mic has a more of a true sound than the pickup but in venues with hard walls and poor sound equipment the mic can feedback so the pickup comes in handy. This guitar has managed to do any Acoustic sound I have asked it to do but considering it's an Acoustic there isn't much of a range of different tones it could be asked to do. // 9

Action, Fit & Finish: The guitar felt very nice from the moment I played the first note and hasn't lost anything since. Everything seems to be well constructed and nothing rattles or anything like that. There is a small amount of fret buzz above the 12 fret particularly on the B and high E strings but honestly how often do you need to go that high on an Acoustic? The stock strings are a perfect match, they are very bright which works really well with the depth this guitar has and they've lasted the four months I've had it so far plus however long they were on before I bought it and they still sound pretty good. // 9

Reliability & Durability: The guitar is built as solid as you could build an Acoustic guitar. I have used it Live several times and haven't had any problems with it at all. You may have to replace the battery regularly if you play plugged in a lot but other than that I cannot see anything that needs to be fixed or replaced other than maybe the strings in the not too distant future. // 10

Overall Impression: This guitar suits any type of Acoustic music possible. I've been playing for about 5 years and play Live, teach and write music and this guitar suits any application I could think of. If it were stole or lost and I had the money for another I would defiantly buy another. The designers really worked hard on this guitar and you can see that in the final product. The tone in magnificent and it feels so good to play. It would be good if it had a pre-drilled strap button and the jack had a larger lip to hold a strap better but this can easily be fixed with a lead. // 9
