Sound — 8
Very good sound for its price, knowing this is a beginner's guitar. There's a glitch on the A string at the tenth fret, where it doesn't ring as much, but apart from that...its pretty much fine!!! String bends are easy on the second smallest(forgot which its called) but semi hard on all the others. I don't think you're meant to bend them heavily seeing as its an acoutic. But i did anyway and i've worn off alot of the frets.
Overall Impression — 8
Overall, good for beginners, but further than that, it'll lack quality and sound of a more expensive acoustic.
Reliability & Durability — 8
Haven't gigged or played live but its just for home use. And it seems very good.
Action, Fit & Finish — 6
Action was very good, quite low. Finish was near perfect, but it will dent if you hit it. String winders seem to have started to tip onto one side if you know what i mean, like the strings are pulling them out. But that's not a problemo. Frets are good too as are the bridge pins. One advice though...take out the pins using a pair of pliers and it'll save ruining your pins. Everything else is still there.
Features — 8
Normal top, body, neck, etc. Check the JHS website to find out more, though they dont say much. 6 steel strings, 21 frets (but you never reach up that far anyway). Rosewood fretboard. Passive pickups which you can plug a lead into at the bottom to your amp, some other details i can't remember. I give it a 4 for its price.
