I mostly play metal, Panterra, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Bullet for my Valentine And other metal. I do not own an amp but am borrowing a Line 6 spider until i can pick me up a bargain second hand stack. The Neck thru is perfect for guitarsolos and other melodys up there. the thin neck is absoloutly amazing and the pick ups are not bad and the active EMG's Aren't actually better, i know wash my mouth out but, the Emg's wouldn't sound rape the esp's, suprising i know.

Overall Impression — 9
this is good match with it's bad-assed reversed headstock for my style of playing- metal! I have just started my second year of playing and am enjoying this guitar If it were stolen / lost, would you buy it again or get something else? Depends if there was a new version or not i wish it came stock with a tremel-no so i had that option for droptuning because sometimes i want to kill floydrose other times i want to jump for joy when i nail a divebomb! Check out our band's Myspace http://www.myspace.com/vexxon Feel free to message me if youhave any more questions

Reliability & Durability — 10
Will this guitar withstand live playing? Hell Yes! Does the hardware seem like it will last? Hell Yes! Replaced the strap buttons with jim Dunlop ones so i don't know how solid they were I would probably take a backup guitar to a concert for peace of mind, but that's just who i am!

Action, Fit & Finish — 9
Perfect ESP finish as always but the input jack was loose and the d-string tuning peg needed to be tightened to the headstok, Action was to low so it ground on the fret wires so i made it higher, with ease i should add, but when bought i just replaced strings and was baisically was away
