Sound — 8
Its has a kool classic/rock sound, it kicks ass. It makes three types of sounds and it sounds pretty freakn' kool wiht a distortion pedal It gives you a old school rock sound tell you the truth first time I picked it up I felt like jimmi Hendrix, Great for playing Nirvana, Hendrix Metallica, Stones it's a great guitar.

Overall Impression — 9
Its a quality guitar Lennon, Mayer, Bon Jovi, Clapton use the Strat and it's the best, make sure you get a distortion pedal, if your into metal and hardcore. It will satisfy all your needs. The price isn't a pain in the ass so it's a pretty good price for a pretty damn good axe I recomend you get it cause it will rock as hard as you want and it will satisfy all your needs.

Reliability & Durability — 9
Fender Strats are the most reliable axes on the market get it if your a serious player I depend on my Strat, and it's never let me down and it shouldn't let you down unless you treat it like a piece of crap. You'll love it and just don't let it sit around don't let anyone play around with it like a piece of crap, only those who are worthy. Are you worthy?

Action, Fit & Finish — 9
Get your guitar from Fender factory its quality material, it'll last a life time and there are zero flaws it just plain old kicks ass you'll love it. It wills last you your life, though you got to be a hard ass to play it you need to cherish and care for it and you got to play it all the time or else it gets messt up.

Features — 9
An ergonomic design with forearm and tummy bevels and better overall balance that made the guitar more comfortable to play. A "drop-in" pickguard and pickup assembly that made the Stratocaster substantially easier to mass produce, repair, and customize. A bolt-on neck that was less expensive to manufacture (the necks of one-piece guitars sometimes warped during production and the whole instrument would need to be discarded) and easier to service. The ability to produce new sounds not possible with other instruments, which in part inspired new musical genres like Surf and Hendrixian-style psychedelia.
