Gibson: Les Paul Studio

Sound — 10
Great sound. Im using it with a Marshall 3203 Artist head. Usually just run amp distortion, maybe some crybabyb 535q wah. But awesome full high gain sound. Matches the head well. No pickup noise, and pickup selector is quiet.

Overall Impression — 8
I like this guitar for the fact that its like a stripped down lp - no binding or burst finishes, but has the same body wood, cap and pickups, so basically what you see is what you get. But yeah good guitar, good sound and robust.

Reliability & Durability — 7
Its a Gibson its a tank, although the strap buttons are very small, but i use strap loks anyway. I have used it without a backup before. Finish is good. wont wear any time soon i think.

Action, Fit & Finish — 6
action from the factory was slightly high. Some fret ends were a little sharp but got that fixed within a week. No flaws in finish or workmanship.

2008 Les Paul studio. wine red, gold hardware. was a discontinued finish (the wine red n gold) so picked it up cheap. Has the 489T and 490R pickups, has that nice Gibson tone. mahogany body, maple cap. no binding. came with case.
