Well, I play mostly melodic metalcore... Bands like Bullet for my valentine, Trivium and Avenged sevenfold... I'm using a Mega ml15+ amp with overdrive for practice and a Crate 200s with a phaser pedal for gigs... This guitar is a bit to much of ``hard rock`` for me... I need to play fast and melodic lead riffs so that this guitar isn't the perfect mach for me... But it's awesome for some blues, hard rock, grunge and jazz... It can get a bit noisy becuz of the pickups and you get a bit of static noise but that is solved by raising the action... It has a rich bassy sound with lots of sustain... I think this guitar is suited most for playin blues riffs and playing rythm...

Overall Impression — 9
So as I said, I play melodic metallcore so this guitar isn't a good match for me... It's good for hard rock and grunge and particulary rythm but nothing for lead sections... I've been playing for about 3 years now and have some shows behind me. I own a Crate 200s for gigs and a Mega 15+ for practice... I wish I had looked around for a guitar with jumbo frets because these medium frets just slow down my playing... I love the ``chunky`` sound when I'm playing rythm on it or when I'm playing some groovie riffs. I hate the jazzy sound when I'm playing solos. My favorite feature is the bridge because this guitar does never get out of tune... If it were stolen / lost, I would get something else 'cuz I just need somewhat for faster playing and with a termolo arm... I compared this guitars to strats other Ibanez guitars and some B.C. Rich guitars and came to the conclusion that this guitar gives me the most honey for my money... I wish it had a locking termolo and locking tuners or at least some better pickups...

Reliability & Durability — 10
Yes it would withstand live playing. Hardware will last long if you clean it regulary. Strap buttons are solid and I have no fear that they will ever come of. I can depend on it but I would never play without a backup just 'cuz. I need to Switch fast between drop C and Standard E so I need two guitars for gigs... The finish is good but it gets dirty like hell.Solwed with regular cleaning...

Factory set up was pretty good but I needed to raise the action on the three higher strings 'cuz of the static noise... The pickups are pretty loud and sound distorted but they can be changed with some di marzios... The guitar had no flaws when I bought it...
