While this guitar is not the most versatile I could have, it fills in very well with other instruments, so...
70's, 90's, Grunge, Jangle Pop, Rock, Alternative, Metal, Indie) Just don't use it for Classical (it's not a classical guitar)...
The guitar has a great sound for this era of music.
I love the sound and look, but can't quite get a grasp on the feel.
For $2000, this thing is remarably cheap. It's all a matter of taste and preference, but if you look at a Les Paul, or a fancier American Strat, the worksmanship and finish of the Rickenbacker just blows you mindas to how could they make it so inexpensive.
It was worth the $800, and will remain fabulous for a very long time.
She was a beginner and she only wanted a guitar to play chords and sing along.
This is so stunning visually most players wouldnt even play it, just buy it for the good looks.
