Sound — 7
The guitar is perfect for country, blus and all this styles where the guitar's sound is mainly clean. The Telecaster has a special clear-ringing sound especially when it is played on neck position with the "lipstick" pickup and it's very original for a solo guitar. I play punk, rock and the guitar sounds again nice. However when I try to play something hard the sound become too unclear (like to play hardcore with a country guitar).

Overall Impression — 6
The guitar is very good for beginners and also can be a main and constant guitar because it has a large variety of opportunities. It is a classic among the guitars and I think is better than the Stratocaster in every aspect. Although it isn't like some other guitars with the same price it is something special and it isn't for everybody.

Reliability & Durability — 8
The guitar is very durable and the hardware is still working, so I can say the guitar is very nice. It sounds great without effects and it's very beautifull man looks really great with it. I only the button for the change of the pickup position is a bit unstable and shaky (all the Squier affinity telecasters in the shop have the same problem).

Action, Fit & Finish — 8
The ringing tone doesn't sound nice in metalcore music or even in hard punk and rock. But sometimes you may try to use it for more specific sounding, it's sound is realy unique and original. The guitar isn't very confortable, the solid body is too heavy and it's shape is uncomfortable for playing while you're sitting but it's neck is perfect I think the best one. The finish is great (Chinese are the best), it looks like a real Fender. Only one complain, the first string sounds more powerful than the other and the guitar rings in addition (I think this is a pickup problem).

Isn't that to do with the gauge of the strings?
