Sound — 2
The sound is possibly the worst I've ever heard. The pickups on it don't do anything at all and when you put it through an amp you'll realize that it sounds better unplugged. The sound also doesn't work well with distortion. I put it through a DigiTech RP80 and made the sound even worse. Best if played on a low volume. The only style I could really think of for this guitar would probably be backup guitar in a blues band.
Overall Impression — 6
Overall this guitar is poor. Even beginners that haven't played a lick of guitar would tell you that they weren't satisfied with it. You could probably put it to better use by taking off the neck and body and selling it as Fender Strat parts. However it has a low price and come with an amp and can be good if you're a beginner.
Reliability & Durability — 8
Even though it sounds bad, it's put togethe pretty good. Sure a few strings break here and there when you accidentally palm mute a little too hard, but other than that it's fine. The neck always stayed straight, the pickguard never loosened, and the pickups never got loose. The only really noticeable flaw to the guitar is that the input jack can come loose a little bit and using a wrench to tighten it up once a week gets annoying. Other than that the durability is good.
Action, Fit & Finish — 8
The pickup selector was noisy and the inout jack got loose. Everything is adjusted fine with it though.

Comes with the guitar, a lacking and small amp, heavy picks, and a learn how to play book that anyone could learn from. The guitar is an Affinity Strat that was in a dark blue color that has the regular Strat look with 3 single coils, 3 tone and volume knobs, and a 22 fret neck. Nothing special. The amp is nothing speical either. Its channels arn't very clean. The only good thing about the amp is that it says Fender on it which is better than having it say Squier. Also it comes with a low quality case and a strap that is always coming off. However, a cheap amp, strap, and bag is better than no amp, strap, and bag.
