The new 112 is very good, better spec and blows guitars away that are twice its price..
The guitar is okay. It's nowhere near what a nice Jazz guitar would be for the job, but this Yamaha's quality-price ratio in comparison is very fitting for my needs.

I've been playing 2 years and this guitar has suited my perfectly other than it's snags.
The pickups could do with a bit more bite, but there pretty damn solid and hard to fault.
