Kustom: Double Barrel
The amp is reasonably versatile if you have pedals, the built in overdrive isn't amazing, but this amp takes pedals really well! It has amazing cleans.

Features: I'm pretty sure this amp was made in 2008, the amp is reasonably versatile if you have pedals, the built in overdrive isn't amazing, but this amp takes pedals really well! It has amazing cleans. It's a 2x12" 30W Combo, with built in Chorus, Reverb and Delay. It has a direct lineout that doesn't cut out the speakers, headphone jack, line in, and a speaker out for a separate cab. // 8

Sound: It would have been a 10, but the inbuilt distortion lets it down. I am using a Fender '86 Strat with it, it suits my music style(s) well (Post Rock, Blues, Grunge, Rock and Blues rock) The clean channel does start to distort, but only when on very high volumes, this thing shakes the walls! Turn the mids down all the way and it makes a really nice sound (IMO) I think this amp, has a very nice sound. The cleans really are amazing. // 9

Reliability & Durability: It has never broken down, I could definitely depend on it, and I would use it at a gig without a backup, because I trust it. It has never let me down, ever. This amp, is definitely reliable enough to gig, and also, it has a lineout that doesn't cut out the speakers (it has a seperate headphone jack for that) So you could PA it easy. // 10

Overall Impression: Overall impression, a 9. This was an upgrade from my Orange Crush 10, with a 6" speaker. This thing is definite bang for your buck, sure you can get other combos cheaper, but this is definitely top notch stuff. One of the best SS Amps I have heard. Sure, the built in gain isn't great, but get yourself a nice pedal, and you're all set. // 9
