I play with a Fender srat with an SSH configuration. I do a lot of soloing and it does great. If i need a clean sound i get a clean sound if i need some crunch it crunches. I use the low end humbucker a lot and the 2 go great together. It suits my style great the only thing i wish was different about it was that they left the classic setting on it like the original spider instead of replacing it with a metal setting. But thats just preference. If your a metal head though, then thats a plus for you. The range of sounds this amp makes is pretty cool you can get anything from clean, blues, twang, crunch, metal and insane, just to list the main ones. The difference between crunch, metal, and insane is the amount of distortion, though you can adjust distortion with the knob for any setting. ITs also capable of 3 differenct effects at once which allows even more tones and sounds. Ive cranked this thing up pretty much as high as it goes and the clean has not broken up. The distortion on this amp is definately one of the main high points. It has such a range from barely any to brutaly hardcore.

Overall Impression — 10
This amp is a pretty darn good match for me with me playing classic rock and blues. I saved up quite awhile for it and am overall very pleased with it. I have been playing for about 7 years now. I would definatly buy this amp again if it were stolen or lost. This amp is extremely versatile and i have nothing but good things to say about it.

Reliability & Durability — 8
I havn't had this amp for very long but as far as i can tell this thing is built to last. At the moment i woudl definatly use this at a gig without a backup and have done so. And this amp has yet to break down on me but it is pretty new. Only time will tell how really durable it is.

This amp was made in 04. This being the 3rd amp i have owned it is extremely versitile. I mainly play classic rock and blues which it has proved more then adequate for, but its extremly versatile and i'm sure that it could be used for all types of music. It has four channels, all of which are very easy to switch between, each channel is capable of holding multiple settings of your favorite combinations of effects. There is an effect pedal loop made for the Line 6 foot board, and there is also a headphone jack. This amp has loads of power for its size. 2 12" celestion speakers that kick out 150 watts of power is quite a kick. So far ive used this amp at jam sessions and a couple of gigs and its proved itself more then worthy. It easily goes over a drum set and is great for small gigs is great. This amp is not a tube amp but it is capable of recreating that glowing sound u get from a tube amp for about half the price.
