Features: This amp has pretty basic features: (left to right) input socket, master volume, Drive Switch (on/off), high, mid, low, head phone socket, power (on/off). You can get some good sounds but there isn't much variety. There isn't any footswitching or an effects loop or anything like that (this is just a basic 10w practise amp) but it's OK as a beginner's amp for the bedroom. // 6

Sound: I use a strat copy with single pickups. On the clean channel you need to turn the volume right up on both the guitar and amp to get a sound that is loud enough to play with, but then you get this crappy kind of natural distortion which ruins the clean sound, so I tend to stick to the Drive channel. The Drive channel is very nice. Fiddling around with the settings you can get some good sounds, but don't expect too much variety. // 6

Reliability & Durability: I've had no problems with this amp in the time I've had it. It is very sturdily built and feels like it could take a few knocks (which it has! ). Obviously you wouldn't want to use this for a gig as it's only 10w, but I would say it would be reliable enough to use without a backup if you were desperate. // 10

Overall Impression: This is a good amp for a beginner. I only started playing about a year ago and this has served me well through that time. I'm now looking to upgrade to something better, but if you are a complete beginner I would recommend this as a first amp. If you've already got this kind of amp (a little practise amp that came in a package) I would recommend getting something a bit more expensive as this is really basic. // 7
