Simply Amazing. Clean takes most minimal hit that isn't noticable unless you sit there and switch it a couple times. It gave me a nice "texture" for playing Immigrant Song that made me stand out, even with a smaller amp. I got a good fuzz sound, a good sound like from The Clash, and even some nice scathing alternative distortion. Set correctly, you can get a good crunch that comes close to the Grunge sound.. but not quite. A very good pedal

Overall Impression — 10
Id say this pedal is a very very good one. I like its sound over the DigiTech metal pedal equivalent. Like I said, if you take care of it, it will most definately take care of you. Buy either this or the Boss Metal Distortion Wah pedal, which has this pedal built in ;)

Reliability & Durability — 8
Well.. this depends. Out of the box, you have to use 9volts, which the unit will eat if your not careful. If you unplug your input and output cables after you are done playing, it lasts for quite awhile. Replacing batterys takes away one point on this stat. If you purchase the power adapter from Boss (cheap) you won't run into this problem. As for design, the pedal is about 6 years old and works like brand new.

Ease of Use — 10
Relatively easiy, pedal opens straight foward, battery connects correctly. The knobs are simplistic in both design and functionality, came with a manual that gave knob positions for presets.
