Sound — 9
I use a Tokai 80's Strat (a rare guitar) through a Belcat V35RG amp and it sounds great! You can get pretty much all Overdrive tones from it, from low gain Marshall crunch sound, a blues drive, all the way to a Hendrixy lead tone and a hi gain cranked sound. You can get quite a tube like sound out of it as well.

Overall Impression — 10
I play rock, punk (all lead) and a lot of Hendrixy stuff. I play in a rock band and this works well with all the styles me and my band play. It is my totally dependable lead tone. It's a Boss!

Reliability & Durability — 10
I can depend on it for anything. Its a boss, its built like a brick and could survive a nuclear war. And I have gigged with it and I had no problems!

Ease of Use — 10
It is an amazing Overdrive pedal, with level (volume of effect), drive (gain) and tone(tone of effect) dials. It runs on battery's for a long time and also works with a DC adapter. It is a great pedal for lead (good for rhythm as well) for rock, blues rock, Hendrix style and punk. It is usable as a blues Drive as well.
