Ease of Use: This is a buffer, nothing more or less. It's designed to remove capacitance and resistance from your signal path when you either have super long cables or a lot of effects daisy chained. Power it with a standard boss-style power supply (or daisy chain it, it doesn't draw much current at all), plug it in to your signal path and there you have it. No knobs, no switches, just a plug for the power supply, an input jack and an output jack. Oh, and a blue LED to let you know it's powered. Not sure it gets much easier than this. // 10

Sound: My signal path is as follows: guitar (Warmoth tele with a single HighOrder pickups T-top replica), 20ft cable, buffer, Rothwell Switchblade, Jack Deville Mod Zero, Malekko Ekko 616, 10ft cable, amp (crate v16 combo). Nothing crazy, but that's still a pretty long signal path and my tone was starting to get fairly dull and had lost a bit of clarity and punch. Once I added the buffer the clarity and punch returned, my pedals started being more... Even-keeled is the best way I can describe it (like everything had been balanced out essentially). It's done exactly what I hoped it would do, party on. // 10

Reliability & Durability: It's just a tiny box that can sit out of the way on the top of your pedal board, or you could probably mount it underneath if you needed to, it's a very convenient design. You don't need to stomp on it, it's always on. I can't see this piece of gear having any issues unless it's intentionally abused... a lot... over a long period of time. But nothing is indestructible. // 9

Overall Impression: It's great, period. It's only designed to buffer out the nastiness in your sound, so it's great for any style of music (unless you like the nastiness that a long signal path adds). I don't care what style, type or age of amp I use, this thing's staying with me. It's a wonderful tool that I think a lot of guitarists could benefit from. Plus, it's bloody cheap brand new! // 10
