Sound — 9
This sound is amazing. I have used it with both a Marshall and a Crate. Also I have looped it with other effects including a wah, echo and another distortion pedal and it keeps it's tone and sound. You can get just about any distorted tone out of this device. I am still experimenting with it and haven't been disappointed yet by it.

Overall Impression — 9
Overall it's a good pedal. The 100 dollars is a little high for a distortion pedal but it is basically 7 pedals in one. So it turns out to be quite a deal. The distortion factory is also great if you are trying to find the sound and tone you want. You don't have to go through several pedals to find it. Or if you change your mind on how you want something to sound, it's all at your finger tips. I would recommend this pedal to anyone Who likes a good distorted tone.

Reliability & Durability — 10
I have had the pedal for over a year now and it has been very reliable. I have yet to have the first problem out of it. I haven't had any kind of shorts or unusual noise from it.I would recommend to use this pedal for Live performances because of it's versatility.

Ease of Use — 8
This pedal works like any other DigiTech pedal, except is 7 distortion pedals build in one. There are a few extra knobs on it, that are not on most standard pedals, but that helps to Crate a custom tone. It is a little overwhelming at first because of all the settings, but after a little while you get the hang of it.

ok i had an mt-2 and am considering this one. my question is, whoever saw the demo for the mt-2 with gary linear where he demonstrates his 7 pedals, im wondering what the settings are for when he activates the mt-2, that really aggresive sound!
