Sound — 8
Its not very noisy at at all, a little depending on the your setup, but its not the quietest pedal. I tried using this for death metal because the DigiTech Death Metal sounds shitty at high volumes. Its very heavy for a Grunge pedal, Like if you want to get sounds like some soft nirvana songs then this isn't the pedal for you. This pedal is a great choice for sludge metal ( mastodon, Melvins ) Good for harcore punkrock ( dead kennedys), Hard rock ( shinedown), old school trash ( megadeth) IT isn't the best pedal in the world but for the price range it sounds pretty awesome. Its terrible for blues and not so great for classic rock ( unless its a distorted tone)
Overall Impression — 8
Its not a good match for my style but it would be perfect for beginners that like sludge, grunge, hard rock. I have been playing for four and a half years, I know gear pretty well ( turning into a gear head) its not the best but one of the best for its price. IF your more of a oldschool sludgey rocker this is a pretty good choice for you, if your a post hardcore kid you could get some good tones also. I don't recommend this pedal to some who has been playing 4 or more years. Perfect for some one who has been playing for 2-3 years.
Reliability & Durability — 8
Pretty reliable, could use it on a gig without backup but its the most durable pedal in the world but its pretty durable.
Ease of Use — 8
Fairly easy to use, sometimes its hard to get a good sound out of it ( it helps if you use 3 cables for best sound )
