Sound — 9
I play a Fender Strat with a bridge humbucker into a Traynor YCV50 Blue. When the effect is on, the tone of the guitar is very slightly diminished, but that is ok because you obviously turn it off when it is not in use. The effect sounds fine. I have heard that the Whammy 4 does not match up to the original Whammy as far as the effect tone is concerened, however, listening to RATM, I struggle to hear an audible difference from Morello's Whammy and mine.

Overall Impression — 9
I play every style of music. I bought this because I love Tom Morello, and I wanted to replicate his sound on songs such as Killing In The Name Of. Id buy a new one it it was stolen. As no other company makes a Whammy wah, this is the only one to go with. Dont bother spending tons of money on an original.

Reliability & Durability — 10
It is rugged, reliable, and totally gig-worthy.

Ease of Use — 9
It is very easy to use, with the same rocker technology as a wah pedal. The bright LED lights make it easy to see if it is on or off, or what setting it is on. The manual is helpful in explaining th emain functions of the Whammy wah.
