Two models:BOOST Mode: Provide BOOST effect of distortion; NORMAL Mode: Provide normal effect of distortion. Enlarging the output to get the tightened electromagnetical sound. Super mini size, made of aluminum alloy, convenient and durable. True bypass provide transparent tone, 100% Analog design. LED indicator shows the working state.

At the top, you can get the sound through the simple operation. The gain range of the Tube Drive is one of my favorite aspects of the pedal. There are settings where you can get a nearly clean boost while maintaining the general EQ structure of the bypassed tone (again, different than a Tubescreamer). There is a mod switch for "Normal" and "Boost," and the broken English manual description did not shine much light on what it does.

It's almost more like the "Lo/Hi" switch on a Fulltone OCD. In the down (Boost) position, you have notably less gain and a little less output. It was in this mode you get some of the clean boost or "slight breakup" tones. In the up position, it's definitely boosting output, adding more gain, and emphasizing harmonics in the upper mids. The tone control is actually fairly powerful, and as with many gain pedals, you'll need to add treble as you increase the gain to prevent it from getting muddy. Actually, the Tube Drive becomes almost like a fuzz pedal (and an intriguing one) at the higher gain settings.

The build quality shares many traits with the Micro series, and that's a good thing. The bypass switch has a little bit of travel to it, but clicks smoothly and reliably. This can be a pro or con depending on your setup. Works great for mine! This pedal is built very solidly of metal. The stomp has a satisfying click.

Super Mini! Good quality and cheap price. Easy to carry, not accounted for the location. I wanted something smaller and simpler for my pedalboard. I kept reading about this company "Donner" in forums. They make great quality mini pedals.
