Ease of Use — 10
Two models：MOD Mode: Provide mod effect of delay; NORMAL Mode: Provide normal effect of delay. Pure analog Whole circuit delay, clear, plump and smooth new delay effect. Super mini size, made of aluminum alloy, convenient and durable. True bypass provide transparent tone. LED indicator shows the working state. This is a very easy to use pedal. If you have ever owned any pedal before you will most likely be able to use it. It has a really quality sound, with the analog circuitry providing that great shifting timbre to repeats, especially on high feedback. It can be incredibly fun to "play the feedback," especially turning the level down most of the way and just going crazy with it.
Sound — 10
I use this pedal with my FENDER amp. If you wand a simple analog style delay this pedal is great, what does any of that matter if it sounds terrible? Well, that's the thing... It doesn't. It sounds good. Really good. The Donner Wave analog delay pedal sounds great. If you're trying to revive rockabilly or add some authenticity to your Pink Floyd, the Donner Wave will get it done. The sound is crisp, clear and warm. It's got a wide range of adjustments, and just sounds like a much more expensive pedal. Just don't forget to buy the power supply, because these Nano Pedals don't take batteries. The sound is crisp, clear and warm. It's got a wide range of adjustments, and just sounds like a much more expensive pedal.
Reliability & Durability — 9
Firstly, you have to know that the "super mini" pedal line by Donner isn't joking around with the name! This thing is barely wider than the length of a 1/4" plug! This can be a pro or con depending on your setup. Works great for mine! The mod switch doesn't seem to do much but it doesn't really matter to me because I mainly wanted this as an analog style delay. They have strong, aluminum alloy cases, and are really durably made. This pedal is built very solidly of metal. The stomp has a satisfying click.
Overall Impression — 10
Overall, its price is very good. A beautiful appearance, a small body, these are the places where it attracts me. More important, it sounds very good. This pedal is small, and I mean really small. It'a about the same size as the foot switch part of an old DOD guitar pedal. But despite it being a choking hazard for small children, that is a good thing. No, that's a lie. That's a great thing! 10 of these pedals fit in your guitar case with the picks and the spare strings. You can carry around an entire pedal board's worth of effects in your guitar case, and you can do it on the cheap. They're under $40, they have strong, aluminum alloy cases, and are really durably made. Yes, you can actually step on them.
