Sound — 10
Gear: used together with solid state Vox modelling amp, a Tubescreamer TS808 and a Les Paul Replica (Tokai LS85F) with Seymour Duncan PUP Alnico Pro II on the bridge and stock on the neck. Sound is amazing with only the distortion turned on, on a clean channel of the amp of course, the different tone setting from solos to riff provided in the manual is useful. The equalizer functions very well (bass, mid and trebble) that you can have a lot of tone settings. Distortion as they've said is massive and tight and the tone is so f*cking gorgeous Vintage sweet. I use the Tube Screamer to boost solos and only the distortion on when doing riffs.

Overall Impression — 10
For 2 Years, I mostly play Hard Rock and Blues types (Led Zeppelin and SRV). I have watch a review of this in the YouTube together with other distortion and this is a favorite. I have always wanted a tube amp but they're expensive and too big, and I found this pedal and satisfied my craving for a warm tube tone cause its f*cking awesome. The feeling is that it reveals your true skills, and you can have the great tone in many of the great rock records, makes me very happy.

Reliability & Durability — 8
The casing and knobs seemed durable. But as expected the tube produces moderate heat. I hope the circuits will last a long time.

Ease of Use — 10
Very Easy. Good knobs, manual provided with tone settings.

The pedal is superb that aside from producing a massive and tight distortion, it has a very nice tone, vintage and warm. if you cant afford a tube amplifier, your option is to buy a solid state modelling amp with good clean channel and usable reverb/delay. A tubescreamer (ts 808)will add magic and boost in doing solos.
Why modeling amp, why not analog SS? Modelers might not take pedals well.

I use this to boost solos, gain on 2 and level all the way up for max saturation. Works a treat.
