Sound: The concert sounded absolutely great. All the instruments sounded good and Chris Martin sounded as good as ever. The synthesizers also sounded very good and it was a real treat for the ears. // 10

Perfomance: It was a packed house at the bell center and everyone was on their feet and singing along to every song. Whenever the crowd is into the show it really makes the whole overall experience even better. They played all their big hits the majority being off of X&Y. They opened with "Square One" which was great and then went into "Politik." When "Yellow" came around Chris was having problems with his guitar but he just made a couple of jokes and everything was fine. Then in the middle of the song people came out with big yellow balls and tossed them into the crowd. The crowd kept on pushing them on stage and Chris Martin attacked one with his guitar. The lighting was excellent. Lots of different images were put on the screen behind the band and Chris Martin swung around a light during their last song "Fix You." // 10

Overall Impression: Canada, Montreal, Bell Centre, August 3, 2005. Overall it was a great show. Black Mountain did a great job opening up for Coldplay. I just thought that Coldplay did a great job. They put on a great performance and I really liked all the lighting effects they used. I would have preffered that they would have made more of an effert of lighting up the stage a bit more in ways that would allow us to see the band (was not a huge problem, it just would have made my pictures better). I will definetly go to their next show, they put on such an amazing performance and the crowd loved it. // 10
