Sound: Ok this band sounds great on all of the albums but has some kind of chemistry live. Their show wasn't very flashy, however their sound was absoultely incredible. Henry Garza used his sunburst Strat and when a string broke he used a pink Strat. // 10

Perfomance: I enjoyed them. They performed Heaven, which of course they had to do, however he did lower it one half step of the live version, but it was still good. They played Onda which is amazing on the record but even more incredible during the show. They stretched it out for at least fifteen minutes of jamming. You could tell that they were really having fun. They also played two just random blues jams, I wasn't so crazy about that, I mean I love seeing them do jams but at the same time I would have liked to hear some of the songs off of the album. Also during one of these blues jams came the only flashy part of the show. The did the whole playing two lines on one instrument thing, they danced around, and Jojo dropped his bass and one of the rodies caught it. // 9

Overall Impression: Ok it was the the good ol' USA in the Detroit city. And of course where else would you see a show in detroit but Pine Knob. Because it was with Santana, Santana's sons band got to open. They were called the Salvador Santana Band. It was a pretty great show all around. You definatly got some great performance time for your money. The best part of the show was the end, when they had Salvador Santana band, Santana, Los Lonely Boys and the keyboard player from The Doors (as they were gonna be there the next day) all on stage and performing at once. Awesome! I acutually probably woudn't go again but that's just because I would want to spend my money on new shows. But for the twenty eight dollars that it cause for lawn seats it was worth it! // 10
